TITULIA CITY (TC) | The upcoming Australian election has everyone talking – many LRP Members are in Australia and concurrently support PM Julia Gillard’s Labor Party. However, according to a 20 question quiz- the RNC has different stances. RNC Leader JP9893 (R-GOP) took the quiz and said he is apparently a member of the Labor Party that many LRP members support. JP’s result is below:
You believe in social justice, fairness and equality. You believe in a fair go for all Australians and believe government should govern to protect the most vulnerable members of society. You believe in better working conditions, fair wages, defending the rights of employee’s against employers and you value the role of unions. You support the environment, aboriginal rights, the welfare system and believe the government has a major role to play in addressing social disadvantage. You're a labor member at heart!
However, former President and RNC Leader Julian (R-Con) took the quiz twice – and got the opposing center-right Coalition (Liberal/National) led by Opposition Ldr Tony Abbott twice in a row. Julian published his latest quiz result:
You believe in individual freedom, initiative and free enterprise. You believe the government should intervene less in people’s lives and support individual and business initiative. You believe in the power of businesses and market forces to create wealth and employment, and not the power of government. You believe in labour market flexibility, lower taxes and limiting welfare expenditure. You’re a true blue Liberal!
Mr Julian says he fully supports this statement, and the RNC should as well.
Former RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con) took the quiz as well and got the Coalition as well - (National Party to be specific):
You believe in private enterprise and strong representation for local communities. You support the interests of rural Australia while championing the security of the nation. You believe in traditional values, support small business, the farming sector and advocate better services for regional Australia. You want a voice for Australians living outside metropolitan areas. You're best placed with the Nationals!
The Conservatives branch of the RNC is also technically affiliated to the Coalition. According to its homepage:
