As far as what's next I'll withhold any comment on that for now.
I feel that President Norton's win will allow him the opportunity to do all the things he's been suggesting for some time now. However, as someone who has served as President, I can tell you it's a lot easier to try to do something than to actually get it done when we are so depended on the ADMIN for many changes. It will be a challenge but I wish him the best. Make no mistake I want the President to succeed in improving Titulia because that will benefit all of us. I bare no ill will for his victory. This was simply democracy in action.
I believe the lack of participation was the key reason for the defeat. I think in the end he beat me by 2 votes with 51% to 49%. And only about 36 were cast. That's very low participation for a Titulian election. I'm not sure anyone else has ever won with less than 20-25 votes.
As far as your question about the SDP's "alliances" I don't understand where that keeps coming from. We did not have a coalition ticket in this election nor in the last two. We have not aligned with another party since President Money's election when I was the VP nominee. That was 3 elections ago.
I never rule anything out because who knows what the future holds. I basically ran this time because I was so frustrated with my successor President Delacruz. Had I known the field was going to be as crowded as it ended up I would not have run but would have instead supported another one of the candidates.
And on a final note I'd like to thank my supporters and wish the new President well.
