TITULIA CITY (TC) | The RNC’s governing party council voted to withdraw support for President Buchanan’s government in its first session after elections. This means, the RNC may block legislation and will refuse compromise on certain issues and lawmaking.
The RNC also voted down the controversial Branch Foundation Plan’s repeal. Incoming RNC Leader Luxis Avaram (R-GOP) has opposed the plan and said he would not support it as RNC Leader. It passed 1-1, and Mr. JP used his RNC Leader Vote to vote against the repeal.
The Council also elected Former RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con) as its Council President, succeeding JP9893’s temporary role.
RNC Councilor OwenMerry (R-PM) was a no-vote.
