FORMER PRES BRADY SLAMS LRP GOVTS

TITULIA CITY (TC) | In a blog post today, Former President and Norton Minister Gerry Brady (SDP) slammed the two LRP governments of President TJ Norton and his successor, Renee Buchanan for causing a “50% dip” in activity. Mr. Brady has slammed President Buchanan for doing nothing but a “50 second video” as President. He also reiterated the drop from 100 active citizens to just 28 per week (Which is way more than the 50% figure he has given).

TC does not formally have an editorial stance, but this blog post has a lot of eye-opening facts that could damage the LRP.

Here are the facts as we stand:
It has been nearly two months into the LRPs terms in power.
In that time one, yes ONE significant law has been passed written by a SDP member.
Activity has dropped 50%.
Most senior longterm citizens have stopped logging in and no new citizens have been active.
We are no nearer to a legislature, a working economy, a plan for a national map and progress on immigration has actually been reversed.

I after discussion with some of the remaining active citizens in this site have been trying of late to stir up some fresh discussion and ideas. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the bogs section and especially in my recent proposition on the Titulian map Idea admin requested months ago.

I took two actions and in both cases the government response to a citizens real and genuine concerns has lead me to believe that the LRP are no longer able to lead, that Mrs Buchanan is only a front for Mr Norton and that a change of direction is needed post haste.

In the first instance I posted a blog asking for a debate on activity and the calibre of response I got from the LRP was nothing short of shocking. AG Reg Ambrose snidely remarked " I knew we should have offered virtual apple pie to attract the masses", Tom Norton went on an all out offensive accusing me of being partisan and our very own president decided to release to the public my confidential reason for not being able to serve this term, this was later repeated by Tom Norton.

What kind of president when confronted by a simple fact or question in good conscience goes and starts releasing private information on fellow users of the site imparted in confidence? One with no morals, no sense of decorum, one who is running scared and is prepared to drop to the lowest common denominator in order to silence any criticism of concern about the site.

My second move was the catalyst for this blog. Yesterday I proposed a "important question" in order to stimulate some debate on the map, this was to any sane person done with the good of the site in mind.. Immediately upon me placing my idea for all to see, debate, judge and vote on our De Facto President Tom Norton in a sharp tone posted on the proposition informing me that I should post this idea elsewhere, in the forum provided rather than where I had placed it. I placed it where is was to stimulate debate in a place of maximum viewership so people may get interested again in the debate. The fact that the de facto president berated me for open debate and attempted to instruct a citizen where and how to talk in Titulia worries me greatly given Toms history of making public orders "rounding up" the opposition as VP and his subsequent ban from the site by the court and Admin.

In short we are now under a president lacking ideas, class, or respect for freedom of speech. The LRP in office have achieved nothing only to talk a massive amount about rhetorical terms like "innovation". Under their watch the virtual nation has stalled bar a few gimmicks and activity is down from over 100 per week at the start of their term to 28 this week.

When Renee Buchanan leaves office in a few weeks time she can hold her hands up and say she was the president who brought a cartoon usher to Titulia. A 50 second video is all she has contributed to this states great office!
Who would have expected better? The LRP talked a massive game of spin, accusation, lies and bluster while in opposition to the point of harassing most decent ordinary Titulians away from the idea of holding office. The "Liberal Republicans" have now found themselves in office and despite being given the benefit of the doubt and a large amount of help by those they maligned, stole from and lied about their term in office has been nothing short of a disgusting charade. The last two terms have been characterized by a lack of ideas, a lot of hot air ,some very questionable attitudes to freedom of speech and opposition in general.

I expect nothing less from the LRP than to get lambasted, maligned, lied about and now to get my personal confidential information released again. It has been their one shot all along and now that they are treading water in office they have resorted to it again. The LRP will blame everyone under the sun, make up conspiracies, bury their heads in the sand and generally act like children but that will not stop the facts. Under the LRP's watch the site has gone from a new exciting era to a wasteland filled only with Tom Nortons rhetorical nonsense and some good work by people like Lux, the J's, Dennis, Alex, Greg, Trvth and Reformer.

I remain confident this nation has a future in different hands. I remain sure I will be abused non stop for raising these points but it only serves to re enforce my point.

We are in the lowest times in Titulian history so at the next election log in and vote this autocratic, uninspired, clueless, abusive, classless government and their Usher out of Liberty House!
