TITULIA CITY (TC) | The RNC Daily’s war with Vice Pres. Reformer (SDP) may cause the RNC party paper its TC MediaCorp affiliation, says TCMC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con). TCMC is worried that its influential 20% stake in the party paper is being misused by distorting TNC Newswire articles for their own purpose.
TCMC spends about 35% of its resources keeping the paper running. It spends about 10% less than the Titulian Conservative due to the RNC Daily’s close political affiliations and activities.
TCMC Vice-Chairman Julian (R-Con) said he would like resources to be increased for the paper, but for TCMC dependency to be decreased.
TC has lost the top spot as TCMC’s most read paper. The RNC Daily is viewed at least 234 times a week, followed by TNC News Online’ s 200 views. TC’s readership has dropped significantly to about 156 views a week.
The RNC Daily also declared that it is the official opposition paper, as it seems TC’s no-endorsement may have played a factor.
Many conservatives and critics are slowly flocking to the RNC Daily due to this controversy, but TC remains Titulia’s longest running independent news source.
TCMC has said it will not increase its resources for the RNC Daily, despite its heightened readership.
